Does VTFC accept insurance?

Virginia Therapy & Fitness Center does accept most insurance as an Out-of-Network provider. This means as a courtesy we will bill your insurance with your Out of Network benefits. Most insurance policies require you meet your annual deductible before they will cover a portion of services. Please contact your insurance customer service line to verify your benefits. Typically, there are no co pays with out of network benefits.

Does VTFC accept Medicare or Medicaid?

Currently Virginia Therapy & Fitness Center does not accept Medicare or Medicaid insurances. If you wish to seek treatment with our facility you will be required to sign an advance beneficiary form acknowledging we do not bill to Medicare or Medicaid and your services may not be covered. You then may pay out of pocket for services provided and submit the claims to Medicare for reimbursement if you wish.

What does out-of-network mean?

Out of Network means we will provide physical therapy services as a non-participating provider with your insurance. VTFC is not contracted with any insurance to accept what they reimburse, therefore any remaining difference between what your insurance covers and VTFC charges becomes patient responsibility.

What will my insurance cover?

Each policy varies with the amount of coverage you may have. Please contact your insurance company to verify your specific policy’s out-of-network physical therapy benefits.

Will VTFC submit my claims for me?

Virginia Therapy & Fitness Center will submit all claims to the proper insurance carrier except any auto-related insurances, Medicare or Medicaid, and Tricare. You also have the option of self-claim submission at any time.

"I'm 49 years old and was a very active person.  I used to trail ride every weekend on horseback.  I played tennis, swam, walked, went camping, etc.  For the past 5 years, I've been in excruciating back pain.  I've gone to physical therapy twice, both times for 8 weeks, but they couldn't help me.  I had every procedure known to man done to me. I had no quality of life whatsoever.  Immediately following my first visit with Dr. Good at Virginia Spine Institute (VSI), he suggested I go to Virginia Therapy & Fitness Center (VTFC). Everyone at VSI and VTFC treated me like I was their only patient.  After one visit with a Physical Therapist at VTFC, I was 80% pain free when I left.  Since then I've felt the best I've ever felt in over 5 years.  I now have hope again.  As I said, I've been to 10 doctors in over 5 years without any success in managing my pain, until now.  I have never felt more at home, more cared for, more compassion from any of the places I've been.  I wish I would have gone to VSI and VTFC 5 years ago.  If you suffer in any way, you should not hesitate to visit VSI and/or VTFC.  Their office is easy to get to, beautiful, immaculate, and the staff are the most pleasant people I've ever dealt with.  I can't say enough nice things about my experience there. "
