Ryan Schott

Physical Therapist

Ryan received his Doctorate of Physical therapy from Shenandoah University in 2022. Through his education and clinical experiences, he gained vast knowledge of hands-on techniques and exercise prescription. While in school, he was able to complete clinical rotations in a variety of settings including one where he treated professional and collegiate athletes. Ryan brings a passion for sports medicine and recovery to his practice. After experiencing his own injuries, Ryan has seen for himself the benefits physical therapy can have on returning to the sports he loved. Such a lasting impression caused him to want to help others have the same experience.
Ryan has completed the base level certification in Schroth method through the Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School. This method utilizes a three dimensional approach when treating patients who have been diagnosed with scoliosis. He has a passion for treating and educating his patients about their scoliosis. He has also completed level 1 of the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI): The body-swing connection. This has taught him how to analyze the golf swing differently in order to find impairments that may be limiting range of motion or identify the source of the golfer’s pain. He plans on continuing his education further within TPI to expand his knowledge and clinical skills in this specialized area.
Ryan played lacrosse and golf in high school and went on to continue his lacrosse career while studying Exercise Science at Shenandoah University, earning academic and athletic honors. While continuing his education at Shenandoah University in the DPT program, Ryan volunteered as a position coach for attackmen.

Ryan is here to help improve a patient’s overall quality of life and reach a potential they did not think was achievable.

One of his favorite mottos is, “No matter how good you get you can always get better, and that’s the exciting part”- Tiger Woods.

Athlete or weekend warrior, Ryan looks forward to working with motivated individuals who are willing to trust him and work together in order to accomplish their therapy goals.
