Carey White

Physical Therapist

Carey has been practicing Physical Therapy for 22 years. In addition to being skilled in manual therapy and trigger point dry needling, Carey has a very Holistic approach to physical therapy that has developed over her many years of practice.  Her niche specialty provides health education and care specifically tailored to post-partum women. Being a mother of two children, she knows how hard it is to get ones body back after the baby and the physical issues that can arise afterwards.  Her practice incorporates exercise performance to include regaining strength, stability, postural awareness, improving balance and motor control. Being an Integrative Nutrition health coach guides Carey to treat her patients in a very holistic manner helping them to understand that nutrition and lifestyle play a large part in healing the body as a whole. She is happiest when patients can get back to an active lifestyle enjoying life to their fullest potential. Carey is also an adjunct professor at Shenandoah University assisting Physical therapy and Physician assistant students in hands-on learning of Anatomy.
