Physical Therapist
Larry works with each patient to provide a thorough, efficient, and successful treatment plan using his knowledge and expertise in orthopaedic manual physical therapy and biomechanical assessment. His assessments and treatments identify the source of the injury-causing dysfunction to get to the root of what is causing the patient’s pain. His goal is to help the patient find a sustainable solution. Initially the solution involves a delivery of a combination of manual therapy techniques and targeted therapeutic exercise. Treatment plans will evolve to transition the patient safely to self-manage their conditions outside of the clinic. In addition to treating orthopaedic and sports injuries, he has a sub-specialty in post-surgical ACL rehabilitation, post-concussion therapy, and vestibular conditions involving the treatment of dizziness and balance symptoms. He has a special interest in the new field of Regenerative Rehabilitation, which involves developing successful treatment plans for patient’s rehabilitating after Regenerative Medicine procedures. Larry played competitive soccer and tennis for many years. He played tennis in high school and with USTA leagues as a 3.5/4.0 player. In his youth, he played travel soccer and participated in Region I Regionals several times. Larry was recruited to play college soccer for Millersville University, NCAA Division II, where he was named 2-time 1st Team All-PSAC East Conference, PSAC-East Conference Most Valuable Player, and Team Captain. Larry continues his love of sports by working with athletes ranging from youth and weekend warriors to professional athletes. For several years, Larry was the Head Athletic Trainer for the USISL Professional Soccer Team, Assistant Athletic Trainer for the United States Men’s National Team, and Student Athletic Trainer for the University of Miami (FL) Football Team. He has worked with athletes on the US Men’s World Cup Soccer Team, US Women’s World Cup Soccer Team, NBA G-League, NFL athletes, Division I athletes, and numerous college athletes. Larry is a leader in the field of physical therapy and co-founded the Mid-Atlantic Physical Therapy Associates (MAPTA), a physical therapy continuing education organization. He is a Lead Instructor of physical therapy education for the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments (IAMT).
